Okay, I confess. I write thrillers and have never read a real romance novel. I’ve also been known to make fun of genre book covers, the plunging necklines and the guys who resemble Afghan Hounds. You know what I mean, the long flowing hair with blond highlights and dark roots.

So it may come as a surprise that I am thrilled out of my mind to post with RomCon and the “blog mistresses” who run this site. You see, I have long admired the romance industry—the way authors crank out novels and readers soak them up. This bond is so strong, so intriguing to me as an outside observer, that I wrote a romance novelist into The Gods of Greenwich.
