Last year, I had the good fortune to attend the Harvard-Lafayette football game in Easton, Pennsylvania. After the game I spoke with Lafayette alumni and members of the team about my last novel, The Gods of Greenwich. A special thank you to my good friend, Jack Bourger, for arranging the day.

There's nothing like watching the Leopards play at home. Coach Frank Tavani runs a terrific program, where members of the team look you in the eye when they shake your hand. He requires excellence both on and off the field–and I like it.

Yesterday, I received this "game ball" from Coach Tavani. Of  course, it made my day. I am a fan for life now and will be cheering the Leopards this weekend from Rhode Island.
