Narragansett Pier is hopping. Surfers are out. Restaurants are packed. The camera crews are here, and it seems like everyone is walking a dog.
But visibility is the pits as you can see from the photo below. It's humid, the air thick and heavy, somehow disarming and eerie at the same time. I totally get that old expression, "The calm before the storm."
