Pete Hamill: an acclaimed American journalist, novelist, essayist, editor and educator. He is a Distinguished Writer in Residence at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University. After working as a columnist and an editor at both the New York Post and the Daily News, Pete turned to fiction. He is the author of twenty books, including the best-selling novels Snow in August, Forever, North River, and Tabloid City. Pete lived in Brooklyn before it was trendy.
